Bittner Audio at the prolight+sound 2010
At the prolight+sound 2010, from March 24th to 27th, Bittner Audio presents new designs and of course approved technology.
The amplifiers of the 4X series now offer low impedance line monitoring in compliance with the EN 60849, starting from the output of a paging system via the amplifiers through to the loudspeakers. A new RS485 interface allows monitoring and control via PC or media control systems. Monitoring and control are still possible via SXL Programmable Control Interface or its successor SXL II.
The new SXL II is another Bittner highlight at the show. Several modules can be managed by a network. Communication with up to 16 amplifier channel per SXL II is possible via RS 485 for long distances up to 1000 meters or via I2C interface. The configurations can be stored on an SD card. To increase functionality the number of hardware ports at the back and display elements at the front has been considerably increased.
